"Triangle Muslim Americans train their youth to be global citizens" :
Concerned with the need to prepare their youth for global leardership positions, the Triangle Muslim Americans in collaboration with Duke University leadership program begin a pilot program on youth leadership in their communities. Some of the programmatic areas to be addressed include
(1) the Art of being with organizations,
(2) dealing with conflict in a productive way,
(3) working with different and/or difficult people,
(4) learning about yourself and then learning about others, and
(5) working with change within an organization. All these will be addressed in the context of American political environment. College students and graduating High schoolers are encouraged to apply.
